Bulls bench hasn’t yet gelled but the starting group seems on track, though overworked.
New York Knicks 120, Chicago Bulls 112
When a team goes 16-24 from three point range, you have to tip your cap. When that same team scores 70 points in the first half, you have to tip your other cap. (Stop wearing two hats, weirdo.) Furthermore, when nine of those three-pointers come from Raymond Felton and Toney Douglas, you might as well just rip your entire head off because that’s pretty much what they’re doing anyway.

Portland got mega-bad games from all of their wings, Roy-Batum-Fernandez-Matthews. And not one of them could stop Luol Deng.
Career game for Luol, solid nights for D Rose and Noah, and Omer really looks like a baller.
Derrick Rose goes for 39pts, 6rebs, 7ast, 2stl, 2blk against the Pistons.
He needs to cut down on his turnovers (7 last night), but Rose promised a big year, and a better jumpshot (3 treys last night). He needs Boozer to lighten the load, but down the road, we’re expecting big things.

70 bones y’all. A small price to pay to watch Jannero Pargo eat chicken breasts and such.
Not only did the action on the court deliver in almost script-perfect fashion — with British-national Luol Deng top-scoring on the night and a buzzer-beating basket from rookie James Johnson sealing a 102-101 win for Chicago — but crucially, for the first time in the three-year history of the fixture, the attention from the British media matched the passion of the sell-out crowd.

Vinny: “Taj, you can only dribble two balls in practice.”
